Using too many flowers in one area though, can make the entire rose garden look more jumbled than a wave of color. One last thing for you to think about when creating and planning a rose garden is to remember to test your soil. Soil testers are widely available and relatively inexpensive. When testing your soil, your pH level is going to be most important for success with roses.
